In close proximity (8km) you will find Marina di Ragusa, a beach town with shops, restaurants, beach lidos and long sandy stretches of golden sand washed by the waves from the Mediterranean Sea.
The second one is placed between the volcano Etna and the sea, 450 meters above sea level.

Gole Alcantara, this river brings the snow water down from the Etna Volcano (3,300 meters/10,000 feet) to Fuimefreddo and has fast running ice cold water
with amazing views of nature.
Castiglione di Sicilia is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. Walk around the old center on top and visit the castle, you will feel as if you have been time transported into the 15th century. There are famous wine bars all along the city where you can drink the local Etna wines.
And of course you can’t miss a daytrip to Etna Volcano, the most active volcano in the world.
An unconventional way to visit one of the Sicilian symbol: Mount Etna. The historic railway was inaugurated in 1898 and it travel around the volcano passing through many villages, offering to its travelers picturesque glimpses of this unique view.
Daytrip to Taormina and Castelmola
The most touristic/expensive place in Sicily worth a day visit. Greek theatre, great shopping, nice ambiance. Good night life with night bars and disco.
