In the heart of Sicily

Sankalpasicily is strategically placed in two of the most beautiful places of Sicily.

The first one is situated in the heart of the southern province of Ragusa.

The Baglio (a traditional rural structure built with the local white stone around an internal courtyard) is located in a quiet place in the unique Hyblean Countryside. Pastures, fields, walking paths, surround the property. Fresh air and tranquility are in abundance.
The low roof of the water cistern is a perfect place to meditate or to enjoy the magical moment when the sun plunges into the Mediterranean Sea. One of the old stables has been transformed into a spacious embracing yoga Shala.

The space inbetween

The province of Ragusa has a rich artistic and cultural heritage. Here you can enjoy and explore the world renowned Sicilian Cuisine, Hospitality and Baroque Architecture, just to name a few.
From Ragusa Ibla’s stunning setting, defined as an island within an island, to Modica, with it’s magnificent churches, looming domes and a long tradition of chocolate making, to Scicli a fascinating little town off the beaten track made famous with the series of Inspector Montalbano.
In close proximity (8km) you will find Marina di Ragusa, a beach town with shops, restaurants, beach lidos and long sandy stretches of golden sand washed by the waves from the Mediterranean Sea.

The second one is placed between the volcano Etna and the sea, 450 meters above sea level.

A magical space with stunning views overlooking the sea in the middle of hundreds of old olive and fruit trees.
Private pool, outside bubble bath, spacious and tranquility.  10 minutes drive from the nearest sandy beaches.  Paradise!
Nature at her best. A Garden of Eden looking at the sea and olive trees nestled on the slopes of Mount Etna. Breathtaking sea view with panoramas of the Nebrodi mountain range, Taormina, Giardini Naxos, the Ionian Sea and even the southernmost reaches of the Italian mainland Calabria. You have over twelve hectares of land  to explore with hundreds of old olive and fruit trees in this very private setting. Ideal for naturists.

Sankalpasicily is waiting for you and this tucked away jewel is  one of the best kept secrets in the Etna north area between Catania and Taormina. Privacy, beauty and peace.

The space inbetween

This amazing part of the island has got a lot to offer in-between the daily yoga classes.
The nature reserve Marina di Cottone beach at Fiumefreddo is only 9 km away.
Furnished for outdoor living and surrounded by the rural nature. Tastefully decorated by art and antique dealers.

Castiglione di Sicilia and Gole Alcantara, the Sicilian version of the Grand Canyon.

Gole Alcantara, this river brings the snow water down from the Etna Volcano (3,300 meters/10,000 feet) to Fuimefreddo and has fast running ice cold water
with amazing views of nature.

Castiglione di Sicilia  is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy. Walk around the old center on top and visit the castle, you will feel as if you have been time transported into the 15th century.  There are famous wine bars all along the city where you can drink the local Etna wines.

And of course you can’t miss a daytrip to Etna Volcano, the most active volcano in the world.

An unconventional way to visit one of the Sicilian symbol: Mount Etna. The historic railway was inaugurated in 1898 and it travel around the volcano passing through many villages, offering to its travelers picturesque glimpses of this unique view.

Daytrip to Taormina and Castelmola
The most touristic/expensive place in Sicily worth a day visit. Greek theatre, great shopping, nice ambiance.  Good night life with night bars and disco.
Castelmola, a little town, less touristic but very nice.
Taormina and Isola Bella. Unique location and coral reeves.
